ATAL TINKERING LAB
ATL at Cardinal Higher Secondary School is designed to ignite creativity and nurture scientific innovation among students. As part of a central government initiative launched by NITI Aayog, the lab provides a dynamic platform where learners transform imaginative ideas into practical innovations. Guided by experts from diverse fields, students receive the mentorship and technical support needed to refine and develop their concepts. This hands-on environment encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit, empowering young innovators to create meaningful solutions that benefit society. Students are given opportunity to take part in competitions held in schools , colleges both at state and national levels. Every year teams participate in prestigious Vikasit Bharath Buildathon and School Innovation Marathon.

NSS (National Service Scheme)
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a student programme that promotes social service and personality development. It helps students understand society, develop responsibility, leadership, discipline, and a spirit of service. NSS was started in 1969 in memory of Mahatma Gandhi.
A total of 50 students are admitted to this social service scheme every academic year. Grace mark awarded.










The Bharath Scout and Guides Wing
The Scouts and Guides unit at Cardinal plays a vital role in shaping good citizens and socially responsible individuals. It instills values such as discipline, leadership, service, and teamwork among students. Through various activities and community outreach programmes, students learn the importance of duty and compassion. These experiences help mould confident individuals committed to the welfare of society.
A total of 12 boys and 12 girls are admitted to the Rovers and Rangers wing in every year. Grace mark awarded.

Counselling corner
The Counselling Corner provides personalised support to students through experienced professionals who visit the school at regular intervals, interact with children, and offer continuous follow-up.
Foreseeing students’ needs, the management has ensured that all teachers attend various guidance , counselling, child psychology classes and training thereby enriching themselves to provide timely help to the needy students.
